Job Description

Research & Development

o Lead the design and prototyping of newmechatronic instruments and modules supporting HiPCO reactors andnanotube-related products.

o Translate scientific objectives intoengineered solutions through detailed design, simulation, and iterativeprototyping.

o Investigate, test, and optimizemechanical, electronic, and control subsystems for precision and reliability.

Technology Development

o Build and integrate multi-disciplinarysystems including sensors, actuators, micro controllers, power systems, andfluid/thermal control hardware.

o Collaborate with materials scientists,chemical engineers, and system developers to design custom instrumentation andautomation tools.

o Contribute to development ofnext-generation nanotube-based applications, ensuring mechanical- electroniccompatibility and performance stability.

Process & Documentation

o Develop and follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all design, test, and qualification activities.

o Prepare and maintain comprehensivetechnical documentation including design reports, specifications, assemblydrawings, and test records.

o Participate in ISO 9001 quality systems, calibration procedures, and processvalidation practices.

Project Leadership

o Mentor junior engineers and techniciansin mechatronics design and prototyping practice.

o Manage time, resources, and technicalmilestones to deliver functional prototypes and production-ready systems.

o Support technology transfer fromR&D to manufacturing and ensure scalable, reliable design outcomes.

Compliance & Safety

o Ensure all projects adhere to ISO, IEC, and internal engineeringstandards and comply with laboratory safety guidelines.

o Participate in continuous improvementprograms focused on quality, safety, and sustainability.
