Senior Mechanical Lead-Product Development

As a Senior Mechanical Lead in Product Development, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering along with a minimum of 15 years of experience in this field. Your expertise is required in areas such as Product Designing, Configuration Management, Modularization, and Cost Out projects. Your responsibilities will include working on projects involving Modularity, Standardization, Configuration Management, and Cost optimization. You should have a strong background in designing both Plastic and Sheet Metal parts, with a focus on mechanism design, manufacturing drawings, tolerance stack-up, and calculations. Your role will involve conceptualizing and developing mechanical designs for new products or enhancing existing mechanical components and subsystems. This will require a deep understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles to create and review engineering drawings, apply GD&T principles, perform tolerance stack-up analysis, and select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for developing test plans, conducting testing and verification of designs, and actively participating in all stages of product developmentfrom documentation and design to prototyping, testing, manufacturing introduction, and service support. Your experience in Design for Manufacturing will be crucial in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing process.
