Job Description

Role Overview As a Finance Controller at Moglix, your main objective will be to oversee the finance controllership and direction for the critical business entity, DigiMRO. You will be responsible for managing the finance and accounting function, supporting the business from a financial viewpoint, driving business plans/strategies, and co-owning the P&L and KPIs along with business teams. Your role will also involve anchoring monthly performance reviews and driving operational excellence through analytics and execution. Key Responsibilities - Take full responsibility for the finance and accounting function, including cost and revenue accounting, book closing, MIS reporting, audits, financial controls, and compliances for multiple legal entities. - Handle audits, compliance matters, and corporate matters. - Support the business from a financial viewpoint by conducting profitability analysis, margin profiling, and other financial analytics needs. - Formulate and drive business plans/strategies for existing and new revenue streams. - Co-own the P&L and KPIs along with business teams and partner with sales teams to enhance performance and productivity. - Conduct monthly performance reviews with Sales/Segment Heads. - Drive operational excellence through deep-dive analytics on Business Drivers and lead change/execution with operating teams. - Prepare clear presentations and creative visualizations to explain financial and business results effectively. Qualification Required - 8+ years of experience in Business finance/controllership roles, leading finance teams in Banks, NBFC. - Exposure to financial reporting standards, financial analysis, tax regulations, laws, and compliance requirements. - Proficiency in ERP systems such as Tally, SAP, Oracle Netsuit, etc. - Good communication and people management skills. - High level of ownership and willingness to establish processes from scratch. - Ability to work efficiently in an unstructured environment. - Chartered Accountant qualification is required.
