Description
As a Senior Manager Engineering for enterprise SSD controller simulation at Micron Technology, you will play a crucial role in leading the simulator development and architecture for all enterprise SSD drives developed by Micron. Your responsibilities will include managing a team, collaborating with various teams such as firmware, controller, architecture, and validation teams, and enhancing simulator features to facilitate efficient left shift FW development and reduce overall proto and development cost. You will work closely with the Data Center SSD (DC SSD) team in Micron India, which has presence in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, to develop DC SSD drives and controller. Your role will involve working with the controller team and architecture team to define simulator features, collaborating with the firmware team to develop simulation features that aid in left shift FW development, and working with the FTE (firmware test) team to execute HW FTE test scripts on the simulator. As a Senior Manager, you should possess a strong understanding of SSD and simulator technologies, have experience in managing design and development of SSD firmware and simulators, and be knowledgeable in areas such as NVME, FTL, NAND media, and controller design. Your ability to lead a team, independently architect and design solutions, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and across geographies will be key to success in this role.
