Role & responsibilities - Strategic - Design and implement organic marketing strategy to align with business goals. Strategize & build scalable processes to increase presence across channels of growth. Define our SEO/ASO strategy across geographies and prepare the company's growth plan. Identifying new strategic business opportunities. Operational - Exploring different channels of organic growth to identify opportunities. Building & managing a content team consisting of in-house writers, video creators if needed then the person should not shy away from doing the job themselves. Own content calendars and build content strategy for various channels. Work closely with the different teams to build and sustain growth plans. Ability to provide proven results with regard to gaining more traffic organically using creative ways. Design, implement and analyse metrics to monitor the success of processes, campaigns and define/refine the process flow basis performance. Develop best practices and process to optimize team performance. Research & Development - Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences. Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring organic marketing activity. Financial and Budget - Ensure budget pertaining to your areas of function is utilized, optimized and tracked. Collaborations - Collaborate with internal and external teams, understand project briefs and develop relevant concepts. Academic Promote the culture of positivity, collaboration, continuous improvement, and commitment to quality in all aspects of Organic Marketing activities. Substantial leadership and management experience - Able to provide effective and inspiring leadership by being actively involved in all programs and services, developing a broad and deep knowledge of all programs. External relations and Corporate engagement. The ability to advocate at the highest levels regionally and nationally on behalf of the University and to influence the decision maker. Personal attributes and style. The ability to relate to and communicate effectively with staff at all levels in the Division, engaging them with the University vision and plans. A personal commitment to and record in effective and respectful partnership working across all staff groups. Sound judgement and the ability and courage to make difficult but informed decisions, including on challenging issues ; Exceptional personal and public communication and relations. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude. Minimum Qualification & Experience Proven track record in managing SEO for an organization including on-page / off-page activities, website optimization. Experience in managing social media channels / campaigns (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube etc.) along with knowledge of KPIs. Knowledge in blogs handling. Proven experience as SEO Manager, SEM Manager, or similar role. Strong in off-page and on-page SEO. At least 6+ years of experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Strong understanding of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) process. Experience working with popular keyword tools (Google, Word Tracker, Keyword Discovery, etc.) Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments. High-level proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including but not limited to Google Analytics, Site Catalyst, etc. Knowledge of HTML/CSS. Experience with SEO reporting. Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g. Conductor, Screaming Frog, MOZ) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Web Trends). Preferred candidate profile Perks and benefits
