Role Purpose

The role is responsible for implementing risk mitigation strategies & policies to ensure portfolio delinquencies are within benchmarks. The role is also responsible for ensuring the CIC reporting and periodic refresh process is managed with no errors.

Role Accountability

  1. Track & monitor portfolio performance and propose corrective actions to maintain the portfolio delinquency within benchmark rates.
  2. Identify opportunity or stress segments in the portfolio and suggest appropriate actions (+ve and -ve actions)
  3. Develop portfolio Performance dashboard on time on a monthly basis.
  4. Support implementation of all regulatory guidelines and network enhancements.
  5. Conduct data analytics, modelling, and segmentation for portfolio management.
  6. Close monitoring of the credit bureau reporting process across all 4 credit bureaus.
  7. Credit SPOC for handling customer disputes related to CIC reporting as escalated by CS team.
  8. Improvement of data quality of data submissions to CICs including reduction in data rejects by CICs.
  9. Ensure changes in credit reporting basis CIC regulations are implemented accurately and timely.
  10. Ensure portfolio refresh through CICs are done on a regular basis and the data is consumed in downstream systems.
  11. Ensure the risk mitigation strategies are updated on a regular basis with the consumption of new data sources (e.g. alternate credit bureau, Account aggregator, etc.)
  12. Work closely with the collections strategy team to ensure high risk segments are addressed proactively through reminder campaigns, etc.

Measures of Success

  1. Ensuring successful execution of portfolio strategies as per agreed plan
  2. Timely tracking of authorization success rate to ensure staying within defined benchmarks.
  3. Timely creation and monitoring of portfolio metrics

Technical Skills / Experience / Certifications

  1. Knowledge of Data Analytic & Modelling
  2. Basic understanding of the cards business dynamics that will drive the analysis.
  3. Knowledge of data analytics and system tools such as SAS, TRIAD, V+, Python
  4. Knowledge of Card networks, Access Control System (ACS), payment processing, and regulatory environment
  5. Process Adherence as per MOU

Qualification

Master's degree in economics, statistics or business management
