Senior Manager-Powertrain Shop

As a Maintenance Engineer at Tata Motors, your primary role will be to maintain the highest uptime of electronic machines and equipment across the engine shop. You will be responsible for implementing innovative solutions for improvements in Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost. - Upkeep of electronic machines and equipment - Improvements in electronic systems for Safety, Quality, Cost, and Productivity - Spare parts planning to prevent downtime - Coordinating breakdown and repair activities - Analyzing machine downtime and providing ICA and PCA for electronic failure - Coordinating and cascading daily work to team members - Identifying opportunities for improvements in MTTR and MTBF - Designing and developing solutions for chronic electronic issues - Executing developed solutions by coordinating with different agencies - Generating and implementing power-saving ideas to reduce power consumption Qualification Required: - B.E in Electrical and Electronics - Relevant experience of 8 to 10 years - Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and electronics maintenance - Competent in electronic systems such as PLC systems (AB, Siemens S7-300), CNC systems (Fanuc, Siemens), and networking - Knowledge in maintenance of electronic systems for various types of machines and equipment - Exposure in maintenance of electronic systems for assembly line and testing equipment - Ability to repair electronic parts up to the component level - Familiarity with maintenance systems and deliverables Tata Motors is committed to leadership competencies such as Customer Centricity, Developing Self and Others, Driving Execution, Leading by Example, Leading Change, and Motivating Self and Others.
