Senior Manager (L5) - Planning & Execution - Engine

As a Senior Manager (L5) at Tata Motors in the ME Area (Plant / Central) in Pune CVBU, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Identifying viable processes, planning facilities and equipment for new projects, as well as enhancing capacity in the engine Shop & assembly / testing area. - Preparing RFQs, obtaining quotations, placing orders, overseeing DAP, conducting trials at suppliers" end and on-site for installation & commissioning of facilities. - Creating layout plans, exploring layout options, and updating changes for future references. - Managing the installation and commissioning of new equipment in collaboration with suppliers, and providing adequate training to production and maintenance engineers before handover. - Developing and updating process estimates for existing/new models, conducting PFMEA/PFD/PLM/DPE, analyzing Capacity Utilization for Monthly & Yearly production volumes, and maintaining a Knowledge Data Base for the Engine Shop. For this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with a strong understanding of engine aggregate Assembly/Testing and facilities planning.
