Senior Manager Information Technology Infrastructure

As an ITIS Head- AVP at Genesys, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive IT infrastructure and security strategies in alignment with organizational goals. Your responsibilities will include defining and maintaining security policies, procedures, and standards for IT systems, networks, and data. You will design, deploy, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-availability on-premise and cloud infrastructure, while also driving the adoption of cloud and hybrid IT solutions. Monitoring performance, mitigating risks, managing budgets, overseeing vendor relationships, leading IT teams, ensuring data security and compliance, developing incident response and business continuity plans, and fostering a culture of security will be key aspects of your role. To be successful in this position, you should have a B. Tech / B.E or equivalent degree with at least 15-20 years of experience in enterprise IT systems management. Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, advanced knowledge of network architecture and cybersecurity frameworks, expertise in virtualization and containerization platforms, experience in disaster recovery systems, familiarity with databases and data storage optimization, and a strong understanding of ITIL principles are essential technical skills. Additionally, proven leadership abilities, problem-solving skills, decision-making capabilities, and excellent communication skills are crucial soft skills required for this role. Preferred qualifications include certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CCNP, or cloud-specific certifications, knowledge of AI/ML, block chain, and edge computing, familiarity with GIS technologies, and a Master's degree in Infrastructure Management or General Management.
