Senior Manager-Design

1. Design Leadership

• Lead the overall design strategy, concept development, and design direction for projects.

• Ensure alignment of design outputs with business goals, brand identity, and functional requirements.

2. Project Design Management

• Oversee end-to-end design lifecyclefrom conceptualization to final design approval.

• Prepare, review, and validate design proposals, drawings, and specifications.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, engineers (civil, MEP), and project managers.

• Ensure seamless integration of design intent with execution teams and contractors.

4. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure design standards comply with building codes, safety norms, and organizational guidelines.

• Conduct quality checks on drawings, materials, and technical submissions.

5. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Interact with clients to understand briefs, gather requirements, and present design solutions.

• Coordinate approvals, feedback loops, and design modifications.

6. Value Engineering

• Provide cost-effective design options without compromising aesthetic or functional intent.

• Optimize materials, finishes, and layouts to meet budget constraints.

7. Innovation & Design Trends

• Introduce new materials, technologies, sustainable solutions, and modern design trends.

• Promote innovation to enhance user experience and project efficiency.

8. Documentation & Review

• Oversee preparation of detailed drawings, GFCs, 3D visuals, material boards, and design reports.

• Review and approve final design deliverables before release.

9. Team Management

• Lead and mentor the design team, allocate tasks, review outputs, and upgrade skills.

• Ensure smooth coordination between junior designers and external consultants.

10. Project Monitoring & Support

• Support onsite execution teams with clarifications, design revisions, and technical support.

• Monitor design adherence during execution and ensure timely resolution of issues.
