Role & responsibilities Job description (Data Scientist) Sr. Manager - Individual Contributor Role Shift Timings- 01:30 PM to 10 PM This role is expected to be part of a newly developed Cost Management function. A part of this function includes a Data Analytics team that will drive a better and more fulsome understanding of cost levers in Canada, identifying areas of opportunity, cost containment/reduction. At a minimum this team, including this role will be self-funding on an annual basis, and ideally generate 10x savings per annum. This role is expected to apply strong expertise in data science and Visualization through leading data collection & mining, data analysis, data visualizations, and predictive/prescriptive modeling reports to build, test, and maintain analytics solutions which meet key business needs. Preferred skills Strong background in statistical modelling and experience with machine learning / data mining tools such as Python, SQL, Advance Excel. High expertise in implementing machine learning and AI models. Strong visualization skills in Tableau Qualifications Experience in Generative AI is preferred. Education-B.Tech/M.Tech/MBA Responsibilities Cost Management analytic studies against large and small volumes of data for a variety of problems including projections, classifications, clustering, pattern analysis, simulations Co-develop an analytics roadmap for the business domain to which you are assigned Where needed, generate experiments on data using the scientific method Effectively communicate recommendations derived from the analytics approach and how it will meet and address objectives to business partners Explain principles and approaches to business partners and senior management in a non-technical manner Preferred candidate profile Perks and benefits
