Job Description

As an expert in control systems, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Study the project requirements and applicable standards to understand the deliverables needed - Ensure that project deliverables meet the requirements and standards through testing and verification - Collaborate with project and functional teams to address any deficiencies identified through testing - Consolidate details of deficiencies periodically and work on identifying root causes and suitable corrective actions - Perform management system audits to assess process conformance and identify improvement opportunities To qualify for this position, you should meet the following criteria: - Expertise in programmable logic controllers (PLC), distributed control systems (DCS), Safety systems, and Fire & Gas systems - Knowledge of industry standards and practices such as ISA standards related to control system design - Strong understanding of process control concepts and techniques - Familiarity with networking devices and components like ethernet switches, fiber optic switches, and firewalls - Understanding of industrial communication protocols like Modbus, Profibus, HART, and FF - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously with professionalism and diligence As a prospective candidate, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering disciplines such as Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, or Instrumentation & Control Engineering, with a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience. Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) and experience in Internal Quality Auditing will be considered an added advantage.
