Job Description

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Management Information Systems (MIS):
Design, develop, and implement regular and ad-hoc MIS reports for management.
Monitor operational and financial KPIs, highlighting variances, trends, and areas for improvement.
Prepare monthly management dashboards covering production, sales, inventory, cost, and profitability analysis.
Automate and streamline reporting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Coordinate with various departments to collect, validate, and analyze data inputs for MIS reporting.
Costing & Financial Analysis:
Oversee product costing processes including standard costing, actual costing, and variance analysis.
Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs, providing insights into cost control and efficiency improvements.
Maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOM), process costs, and inventory valuations.
Conduct profitability analysis by product line, customer, and region.
Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and cost estimation exercises.
Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to evaluate cost structures and recommend optimizations.
Compliance & Controls:
Ensure adherence to cost accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
Facilitate internal and statutory audits by providing required reports and explanations.
Develop and implement internal controls over costing and reporting processes.

Functional Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/other), and data visualization tools.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes and cost accounting methodologies.
Attention to detail and ability to handle large data sets.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams
