Senior Maintenance Engineer

To ensure the smooth and reliable operation of all plant machinery and utilities including pneumatic & hydraulic press machines, welding sets, pneumatic tapping machines, compressors, and other utilities through effective preventive and breakdown maintenance, minimizing downtime and ensuring high equipment availability.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance

• Plan, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance for press machines (pneumatic & hydraulic), welding sets, and tapping machines.
  
• Attend and resolve machine breakdowns promptly to minimize production loss.
  
• Analyze root cause of recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
  

2. Equipment Reliability & Improvements

• Monitor machine performance and ensure upkeep as per OEM standards.
  
• Suggest and implement improvements in machine efficiency, safety, and reliability.
  
• Maintain proper lubrication and calibration schedules for all critical equipment.
  

3. Utility Maintenance

• Ensure smooth functioning of utilities air compressors, cooling systems, DG sets, and water systems.
  
• Check and maintain utility line pressures, leakages, and performance parameters.
  

4. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and breakdown history.
  
• Support ISO / audit requirements related to maintenance and equipment safety.
  
• Maintain spares inventory and raise requirements in advance.
  

5. Team & Coordination

• Guide and supervise maintenance technicians and ITI staff.
  
• Coordinate with production, purchase, and safety departments for maintenance activities.
  
• Train team on basic troubleshooting and safe maintenance practices.
