Senior Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Senior Engineer to support our operations through effective maintenance of equipment, utilities, and facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in machine and electrical maintenance, ETP operations, and preventive maintenance strategies to ensure smooth and efficient plant functioning.

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on plant equipment and machinery to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
• Perform repairs and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to resolve breakdowns and malfunctions promptly.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to maximize equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Collaborate with the production team to plan maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and equipment history records.
• Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in plant maintenance to enhance efficiency and optimize equipment performance.
• Coordinate with external service providers and contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during maintenance activities, including lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
• Train and mentor junior maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in plant maintenance.

• Machine Maintenance:

• Perform regular inspections and maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime

• Electrical Maintenance:

• Maintain and repair electrical systems including motors, control panels, wiring, and circuits.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and conduct preventive electrical checks.

• ETP Operation (Effluent Treatment Plant):

• Monitor and operate ETP systems to comply with environmental and regulatory standards.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues within the ETP.

• Preventive Maintenance:

• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all critical equipment
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and ensure timely execution of PM tasks.

• Facility Maintenance:

• Ensure proper functioning and upkeep of facility infrastructure including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and general utilities.
• Address day-to-day facility-related maintenance issues promptly.
