Senior Machining Engineer Aerospace Components

As a Senior Machining Engineer for our aerospace manufacturing company in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in developing and improving machining processes for high-precision aerospace components. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and optimizing machining processes for complex aerospace components. - Selecting appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters for high-precision CNC operations. - Collaborating with design, production, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance with aerospace standards. - Conducting time studies, cycle time improvements, and root cause analysis for machining-related issues. - Supporting new product introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement initiatives. - Maintaining documentation including process sheets, tooling lists, and technical specifications. - Ensuring adherence to AS9100 and other relevant aerospace quality standards. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC machining, preferably in the aerospace or high-precision engineering sector. - Strong knowledge of materials such as titanium, steel, and aluminum alloys. - Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (Hypermill, CATIA). - Good communication and problem-solving skills.
