Senior Machine Learning Researcher

Role Overview: As an experienced machine learning professional with expertise in deep learning and statistical modeling for earth observation data applications, your role at SatSure will involve various responsibilities. These include: Key Responsibilities: - Implementing deep-learning models and/or frameworks for scene/semantic/panoptic segmentation, object classification, and synthetic data generation using earth observation data in agriculture and infrastructure domains. - Designing and implementing performance evaluation frameworks to drive incremental and step function improvements. - Exploring and developing new methods to enhance detection and classification performance. - Building model monitoring and active learning pipelines to address target and data shifts in the domain. - Developing models to solve open research problems related to LULC, crop classification, change monitoring, and disaster management using earth observations. - Defining and implementing performance metrics for research problems while maintaining a methodical and organized approach to experiment management and performance evaluations. Qualifications Required: - A Masters or PhD degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Machine Learning/Deep Learning domains. - 5-8 years of experience in machine learning-based data product research and development, along with a relevant educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or Machine Learning.
