As a skilled Linux Administrator with 2 to 4 years of experience, you will be joining our IT team to take on more responsibilities in managing Linux servers, troubleshooting complex system issues, optimizing performance, and implementing security measures. Your role will include: - Advanced Linux System Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving complex issues related to Linux servers, workstations, and applications. - Operating System Installation & Configuration: Installing, configuring, and managing Linux operating systems in various environments to ensure system stability and performance. - User Account Management: Administering user accounts, permissions, and access control for secure and efficient system usage. - Software Installation & Maintenance: Installing, configuring, and maintaining various software applications on Linux servers to ensure compatibility and security. - End-User Support: Providing technical support to users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner. - System Security: Implementing, configuring, and managing security policies like firewalls and intrusion detection systems to safeguard Linux infrastructure. - System Updates & Patching: Regularly managing system updates, patches, and Linux application upgrades to ensure minimal downtime. - Performance Optimization: Monitoring system performance, performing tuning, and making recommendations for performance improvements. - Automation: Developing and maintaining scripts for automation and system management tasks. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in Linux administration. - Technical Skills: - Strong proficiency in Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat). - Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation. - Solid understanding of networking services and protocols (e.g., DNS, DHCP, SSH). - Familiarity with system monitoring, performance tuning, and backup/recovery tools. - Knowledge of security protocols and best practices, including firewalls and antivirus solutions. - Soft Skills: - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. - Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
