The Piping Stress Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and testing various types of piping systems based on the principles of piping engineering. The role includes developing detailed stress analysis reports, collaborating with the design team, and ensuring that all designs meet regulatory and safety standards. We are currently seeking Senior / Lead Engineer -Piping Stress Engineering to join our team based in Gandhinagar, Gujarat . This is a office based role and candidate must only have experience in the same environment. Job Title: Piping Stress Engineer Location Gandhinagar Gujarat Experience Range 05 - 15 years of experience Educational Qualification BE / BTech In Mechanical Engineering Experience - Proven experience in piping stress analysis, preferably in the oil and gas industry. Job Summary: As a Senior / Lead Piping Stress Engineer, you will be assigned to a project task force team working primarily in Piping Stress activities in Oil & Gas, Refineries, Petrochemicals. Proficiency in CAESAR/ AUTOPIPE software. Must be conversant with stress analysis of piping connected to various types of equipment. Conversant with requirements like trunnion calculation, flange leakage calculations, qualification of allowable nozzle loads etc. Key Responsibilities: Perform Stress Analysis : Conduct detailed stress analysis of piping systems using industry-standard software tools. Design Collaboration : Work closely with piping design engineers to resolve design and field engineering difficulties. Compliance and Standards : Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and specifications. Problem Solving : Identify potential issues and develop strategies to mitigate stress-related problems. Technical Documentation : Prepare detailed reports documenting stress analysis results and recommendations. Project Coordination : Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other engineers to ensure project completion according to schedule and budget. Inspection and Testing : Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards. Cost Estimation : Estimate time and material costs on project work and prepare documentation for project bids. Skills : Proficiency in stress analysis software (e.g., CAESAR II, AutoPIPE). Strong understanding of engineering principles and industry standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
