Senior Java Web Engineer

As a Senior Java Web Engineer at our client, a leading technology solutions company, you will be responsible for working on a project for a global financial services company. Key Responsibilities: - Write clean, correct, and efficient code for backend components and features. - Continuously improve existing products, implement new features, enhance performance, and develop new internal banking solutions. - Work closely with product teams, architects, and other developers to implement the platform's design and functionality. - Take charge of technical design, development, and documentation for cross-functional, multi-platform application systems. - Engage in testing activities including unit tests, integration tests, and performance monitoring. - Suggest enhancements for products and development workflows. - Build strong client relationships to understand goals and facilitate feasible implementation. - Work in an Agile environment with all Scrum ceremonies in place. Qualifications Required: - Strong experience (at least 5 years) in developing distributed applications with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices. - Proficiency in working with APIs and databases like MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, or other relational databases. - Knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, transaction management, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with job schedulers like Spring Batch, UI uplift projects, app engine migration, and building new platforms. - Previous experience in testing activities including unit tests (Junit), integration tests, and performance monitoring.
