Senior Java Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. You will implement microservices architecture for new and existing systems, write efficient SQL queries, and design database schemas for performance optimization. Your role will involve developing and consuming RESTful APIs for seamless integration with other systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentor junior developers. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 5 years of professional experience in backend software development. You must possess strong hands-on experience in Java and the Spring Boot framework, along with an in-depth understanding of microservices design patterns and best practices. Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle is essential. Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools will be beneficial. Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills are also required for this position. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, or Trivandrum, with a hybrid work mode of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
