As an AI Architect at SAP, you will play a key role in driving the adoption of generative AI and machine learning across procurement systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading AI Architecture: Utilize SAP's AI services and custom AI models to revolutionize user experiences and automation in procurement systems. - Championing BTP Innovation: Architect complex solutions leveraging SAP's Business Technology Platform, including Integration Suite, Analytics Cloud, AI Core, and custom extension development. - Implementing Advanced CD Practices: Lead the implementation of sophisticated continuous delivery patterns, such as progressive delivery and automated rollback mechanisms across global deployment regions. - Mastering Enterprise-Scale Trunk Development: Implement complex trunk-based development scenarios with large teams, utilizing advanced feature flag strategies and merge conflict resolution at an enterprise scale. - Designing Cloud-Native Architectures: Create high-performance, globally distributed architectures using SAP's cloud-native principles, service mesh technologies, and advanced observability patterns. - Building Intelligent Automation: Develop AI-powered automation for testing, deployment, monitoring, and incident response, pushing the boundaries of enterprise software delivery. - Extending the Platform: Create innovative extensions and custom services on BTP that are reusable across SAP's product portfolio, contributing to SAP's platform evolution. - Evangelizing Modern Architecture: Drive the adoption of modern architectural patterns within SAP's enterprise context. In addition, you will need to bring the following qualifications and experience to the role: - 8+ years of experience with expertise in modern practices, AI/ML, and enterprise platform development. - Advanced Programming Expertise: Mastery in Java ecosystem, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and reactive programming. Leadership skills across multiple languages such as Java, C#, Python, Go, and JavaScript. - Enterprise Data Management Skills: Knowledge in RDBMS, distributed databases, caching strategies, and data consistency patterns. - Integration Architecture Expertise: Experience in REST API design, OData implementation, GraphQL schema design, and enterprise integration patterns. - Platform & Cloud Architecture Knowledge: Proficiency in microservices patterns, service mesh, distributed system design, cloud platforms, containerization orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code. - Modern Development Leadership: Experience in leading teams in advanced DevOps practices, trunk-based development, and continuous delivery at scale.
