Job Description

We are looking for a

highly skilled Senior Java Developer

to join our team in

Gurugram

. This role requires strong expertise in

Java-based microservices

,

Spring ecosystem

, and

cloud-native application development

. The ideal candidate should also possess excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work in fast-paced Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure

Java-based microservices

using

Spring Boot

and the broader

Spring Framework

.
Develop and consume

RESTful APIs

, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Architect and maintain

distributed systems

and

event-driven architectures

.
Implement persistence layers using

JPA

,

Hibernate

, and relational databases such as

MS-SQL

and

PostgreSQL

.
Utilize

Java 11+

features (Lambdas, Streams, Functional programming) for clean and efficient code.
Work with

CI/CD pipelines

using tools like

Jenkins

,

GitHub Actions

,

GitLab CI

, or

AWS DevOps

.
Deploy and manage services on

cloud platforms

, with a preference for

AWS

.
Integrate with event-driven tools such as

Kafka

,

Message Queues

, or

Event Buses

.
Participate in

Agile/Scrum ceremonies

, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and demos.
Collaborate with frontend developers to implement

Backend-for-Frontend (BFF)

patterns.
Contribute to

container orchestration

efforts using

Managed Kubernetes

(EKS, AKS, GKE).
Apply

Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

principles in application architecture.
Optimize code and queries for performance and scalability.
Maintain high code quality through best practices, peer reviews, and testing.
Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and continuously improve skillsets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

8+ years

of hands-on experience in

Java

application development.

Strong command of Spring Boot

, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
Solid background in

relational databases

and

ORM frameworks

(Hibernate, JPA).
Proficiency in

Java 11+

, including modern programming paradigms.
Experience with

cloud platforms

(AWS preferred).
Experience with

CI/CD pipelines

and

DevOps tools

.
Understanding of

event-driven systems

and real-time data processing.
Familiarity with

Kubernetes-based deployments

.

Strong communication skills

and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Experience in

Agile development methodologies

.

Nice to Have:

Frontend experience

with

React

or

Angular

, and a good grasp of HTML, CSS3, and responsive design.

Experience in hospitality services domain

.
Exposure to

DDD and BFF architectural patterns

.
Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and practices.
