Senior Java Developer-Microservice/Core Banking

An experienced consulting professional with a deep understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes, or technology designs within a product/technology family. You operate independently to deliver high-quality work products to engagements. Your role involves performing varied and complex duties that require independent judgment to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs while applying Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. As an IC3 level professional, your responsibilities include activities in Development, Implementation, or Managed Service activity streams as a Technical Consultant. Your key responsibilities are: - Being a technical team member in developing software extensions as per clients" business requirements - Translating business requirements into design specifications - Assisting with analysis, design, and implementation of solutions for various business requirements - Developing programs as per specifications/requirements given by Oracle/Client within the planned schedule - Ensuring quality code delivery and providing technical services as part of the development and implementation activities of Oracle Banking application To excel in this role, you should possess knowledge and skills in software programming in Core Java, J2EE, Microservices related technologies, Spring Boot, Ojet, Rest API, JavaScript, XML. Additionally, you should have good client interaction skills, exposure to software deployment and troubleshooting on Application Server software (especially Oracle Weblogic), and experience in translating customer business requirements into workable solutions. Being a good team player is a crucial skill for this position. Your secondary skills should include exposure to Banking Domain and Functional knowledge of Banking systems, software development processes and practices, DevOps tools, and Testing tools. You should also have experience in the development and implementation of Interfaces, Batch operations, troubleshooting, and issue resolution encountered in Testing cycles. With 4 to 6 years of experience, you are expected to hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. The work environment will require you to be willing to work offshore and travel to client locations. You should also be open to taking up FLEXCUBE Technical certifications in functional areas as and when required.
