Senior Java Developer

You will be part of Foxsense Innovations as a Java Developer / Senior Java Developer based in Coimbatore with 3-8 years of experience. As the team is rapidly growing, you have the opportunity to join an exciting phase of their journey from 1-10. Your role involves building high-quality, innovative, and robust software solutions. You will be responsible for determining operational feasibility, documenting solutions, preparing and installing systems, improving operations, updating job knowledge, protecting operations, and providing information on development and service issues. You will develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and investigating problem areas. To excel in this role, you should have proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer, experience designing interactive applications, ability to develop software in Java, and excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies. Proficiency in web application development using popular web frameworks, experience with test-driven development, and the ability to document requirements and specifications are essential requirements. Bonus skills include experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, familiarity with microservices architecture and API development, and contributions to open-source projects or a strong technical portfolio. In your first 30 days, you will gain a deep understanding of the company's mission, tech stack, and product landscape, meet with cross-functional teams, dive into the codebase, and contribute to minor fixes or enhancements. In the following 30 days, you will take ownership of a feature or module, propose and implement optimizations, actively participate in planning sessions, and establish yourself as a problem solver and collaborator within the team.
