Senior Infrastructure Software Engineer

As a Senior Infrastructure Software Engineer at the fastest-growing unicorn in Europe, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions to support applications and services. Your responsibilities will include: - Architecting, deploying, and maintaining scalable, cost-effective, and secure solutions on AWS, utilizing services like EC2, S3, Lambda, Redshift, RDS, DynamoDB, ECS, and CloudFormation. - Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions/Apps to ensure efficient, automated, and reliable build, test, and deployment processes. - Automating infrastructure and application provisioning to enable a self-service approach for other engineers. - Enforcing security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance standards for cloud and DevOps workflows. - Working closely with development and product teams to seamlessly integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle. - Optimizing system performance and scalability to meet the demands of a dynamic and growing environment. - Leading the response to system issues, troubleshooting, and implementing solutions to ensure high availability and reliability. - Staying updated on emerging cloud foundation tools and practices to continuously improve processes and systems. To succeed in this role, you should have: - 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles with a strong focus on AWS cloud services and architecture. - 1+ years of software engineering experience (Python/Go) and a passion for building scalable, reliable infrastructure systems with a focus on cloud-native and AI-enhanced applications. - Deep expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, CloudFormation, and RDS. - Proficiency with GitHub, including GitHub Actions, version control workflows, and repository management. - Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. - Hands-on experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines. - Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages for automation tasks. - Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to system optimization and incident resolution. - Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments, including IAM, encryption, and compliance standards. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams. Preferably, you also have: - Experience with monitoring standards like Prometheus, Open Telemetry. - Exposure to distributed systems and microservices architecture. - Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech, and customer-focused environment. - A proven track record of mentoring team members and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. - Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, or similar.,
