The Technology Infrastructure team at Point72 is responsible for engineering and operating the foundational technology platforms that support all applications and businesses within the firm. As a member of the Technology Team at Point72, some of your responsibilities will include leading the design and implementation of advanced automation solutions to enhance technology infrastructure operations, architecting scalable infrastructure automation systems using AWS cloud services, developing and maintaining automation systems with object-oriented programming languages, leveraging tools like Ansible and Terraform for configuration automation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive automation initiatives, and mentoring junior engineers to contribute to their professional development. To be successful in this role, you should have 10+ years of professional experience as a software engineer with a Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science or a related field. Strong proficiency in programming using object-oriented languages like Rust, Java, or Python, expertise with core AWS services, knowledge of networking concepts and technologies, familiarity with configuration automation tools, experience with real-time messaging systems, and strong problem-solving skills are some of the requirements for this position.
