Senior Highway Engineer

Position : Senior Site Engineer

Location: Bengaluru

Roles and Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge and experience of civil & road engineering principles, methods, and deliverables for infrastructure projects.
• Should have good hands-on experience in construction of roads/ highways.
• Execution of all construction activities as per quality management system.
• The ability to interface with clients, subconsultants, government officials and other remote resources, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Supervise and Execute work at the site as per design and drawing. Maintaining records of work executed.
• Ensuring site execution in accordance with quality, safety & environmental standards
• The civil engineer shall have good domain knowledge and should have experience of site civil execution, piling, field survey, field inspections, bar bending schedule, job procedures, resource planning, measurement & bill certification, material re-conciliation, final documentation, vendor / contractor management, quality / HSE management and knowledge of relevant codes.
• Oversee and mentor staff. Proactively liaison with Clients to manage service expectations and commitments.
• Develop detailed designs for roads, highways, bridges, and other infrastructure projects using software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Ensure timely completion of projects by managing schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 6-8 years of experience in highway engineering or related field (civil engineering).
• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices; expertise in road construction methods and materials.
• Proficiency in designing complex structures using computer-aided design tools like AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Project management and supervision skills
• Languages- English, Hindi, Kannada & Telugu
