Job Description

Generative AI Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize
generative AI models
(e.g., GPT, diffusion, transformer-based architectures).
Develop scalable
Python-based AI pipelines
for data preprocessing, model training, and inference.
Fine-tune and deploy
pre-trained large language models
using frameworks like
Hugging Face Transformers
,
LangChain
, or
OpenAI API
.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, ML engineers, product teams) to integrate AI models into production systems.
Research and implement state-of-the-art techniques in
text, image, and multimodal generation
.
Optimize model performance, latency, and scalability in cloud or on-prem environments.
Maintain model governance, versioning, and responsible AI compliance.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to AI architecture and code reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications

8+ years
of professional experience in software development, with at least
2+ years
in AI/ML.
Expert-level proficiency in
Python
and its libraries (NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch/TensorFlow, FastAPI, etc.).
Strong understanding of
deep learning architectures
(transformers, CNNs, RNNs, diffusion models).
Experience with
Generative AI frameworks
e.g.,
LangChain, OpenAI, Hugging Face, LlamaIndex, Stable Diffusion, Midjourney APIs
.
Hands-on experience with
prompt engineering
,
model fine-tuning
, and
embedding-based retrieval (RAG)
.
Familiarity with
MLOps tools
(Docker, MLflow, Kubernetes, AWS Sagemaker, Vertex AI, Azure ML).
Solid understanding of
data engineering
principles and
API development
.
Strong problem-solving and algorithmic skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
