SENIOR GAME DEVELOPER

Role Overview: As a Senior Game Developer, you will be part of a small indie team, working on developing high-quality games for mobile and PC platforms. You will have the freedom to decide the gameplay and feel of the games you work on. Your responsibilities will include working on various game development disciplines such as AI, Networking, Pathfinding, and Tool development. You will need to write stable and highly optimized code and collaborate effectively with artists, designers, QA, and animators. The position requires strong C, C++, C#, and object-oriented programming skills. Key Responsibilities: - Work with a small indie team to develop high-quality games - Have full freedom to decide the gameplay/feel of the game - Develop mobile/PC games (Android, iOS, Steam) - Work on various game development disciplines such as AI, Networking, Pathfinding, Tool development, etc. - Develop and implement independent modules, write stable and highly optimized code - Work with Unity 3D and/or in-house Game Engine Qualification Required: - Very strong C, C++, C# and object-oriented programming skills - Minimum 3 years of experience in object-oriented programming related development - Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with artists, designers, QA, animators - High aptitude and strong analytical skills - Familiarity with performance bottlenecks, multi-threading, OS concepts, System programming, etc. - Very strong debugging skills - Masters or Bachelors degree in computer science (ideally from a reputed institute) or relevant work experience Additional Company Details: The company offers an attractive compensation package, participation in a profit-sharing scheme on top of CTC, and the opportunity to work with a small and passionate autonomous indie team.
