Job Description

As an Illustrator at Light & Wonder, Inc., you will be a key player in developing visually captivating and engaging slot games. Collaborating with the game designer and art direction teams, you will bring characters, themes, and concepts to life through your artistic skills. Your role will involve conceptualizing and sketching initial design ideas, creating high-quality 2D illustrations, ensuring visual coherence across all game assets, and incorporating feedback to achieve the desired artistic vision. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing assets for smooth integration of animations, organizing and managing illustration files efficiently, and staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the quality of artwork continually. The desired candidate should have a bachelor's or master's degree in fine arts or a related discipline, with at least 7 years of experience in the game industry as an illustrator/concept artist. Proficiency in digital illustration tools like Photoshop and Illustrator, understanding of composition, color theory, and lighting, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of the slot game industry, Ai image generation tools, basic knowledge of Unity, and familiarity with any 3D software.
