Role Overview: You will be a Senior Full-Stack Laravel Developer at HEROIC Cybersecurity, contributing to the development of advanced SaaS-based cybersecurity platforms. Your role is tailored for an experienced full-stack developer who thrives in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment and is dedicated to building secure, scalable, and intelligent web applications. Your responsibilities will span the entire application stack, covering backend PHP/Laravel, frontend implementation, database design, DevOps, and production systems. Operating within U.S. Pacific Time business hours, your role includes complete system ownership and a specific breakdown of coding, architecture, and team communication tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Full-stack development for HEROIC's SaaS cybersecurity platform using technologies such as Laravel, MySQL, Vue/JS, Postgres, and Cassandra - Utilizing AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and ChatGPT to enhance development velocity, code quality, and maintainability - Managing daily bug triage, security patching, and hotfix resolution - Proactively handling server and database administration for Linux, Apache/Nginx, MySQL, Postgres, and Cassandra - Collaborating with U.S.-based management, product teams, and India-based engineers - Integrating third-party APIs, tools, and AI services - Writing clean, well-documented, testable code and implementing automated testing - Keeping updated on Laravel ecosystem, AI-assisted coding trends, and security best practices - Participating in daily standups, planning meetings, and post-release reviews - Ensuring adherence to a secure software development lifecycle for SAAS-based cybersecurity platforms - Taking ownership in the development of HEROIC's software applications and technical environments Qualifications: - 8+ years of full-stack PHP development with a minimum of 3 years in Laravel - Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, JavaScript (Vue.js or similar), Git, and RESTful APIs - Experience in server and database management (Linux, Apache/Nginx, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Cassandra) - Familiarity with AI-enhanced coding tools and modern DevOps workflows like CI/CD and GitHub Actions - Ability to work independently during U.S. hours and oversee mission-critical systems - Previous experience in a security-focused or SaaS product environment is advantageous - Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field Additional Company Details (if available): HEROIC offers a full-time position based in Pune, India with the flexibility of remote work.
