Senior Full-Stack Laravel Developer

HEROIC Cybersecurity is currently looking for a Senior Full-Stack Laravel Developer to play a crucial role in managing the development of sophisticated SaaS-based cybersecurity platforms. This position is perfect for a highly skilled full-stack developer who excels in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment and has a strong passion for creating secure, scalable, and intelligent web applications. As a senior developer, your responsibilities will encompass supporting the entire application stack, from backend PHP/Laravel to front-end implementation, database design, DevOps, and production systems. You will utilize AI tools and workflows to streamline development processes, minimize bugs, and expedite deployment timelines. Operating during U.S. Pacific Time business hours (9 AM to 6 PM PT), this role demands complete system accountability involving daily bug fixes, server and database management, and security patching. Your time allocation is expected to be approximately 80% coding, 10% architecting, and 10% team communication. Your main responsibilities will include full-stack development for HEROIC's SaaS cybersecurity platform utilizing technologies such as Laravel, MySQL, Vue/JS, Postgres, and Cassandra. You will leverage AI coding assistants to enhance velocity, code quality, and maintainability. Additionally, you will be responsible for daily bug triage, security patching, hotfix resolution, server and database management, collaboration with U.S.-based management and India-based engineers, integration of third-party APIs, tools, and AI services, writing clean code, staying updated with Laravel ecosystem and AI-assisted coding trends, participating in meetings, and ensuring a secure software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 8 years of full-stack PHP development experience, including 3+ years in Laravel. Deep expertise in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, JavaScript (Vue.js or similar), Git, and RESTful APIs is essential. Proficiency in server and database management, familiarity with AI-enhanced coding tools, modern DevOps workflows, and experience in a security-focused or SaaS product environment are significant advantages. Excellent English communication skills and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience are also required.
