Senior Full Stack Developer Micronaut / Spring Boot + AWS Lambda

As a Senior Full Stack Developer at Atomise, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Java Micronaut or Spring Boot. You will work on building and deploying serverless components using AWS Lambda, integrating with API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and more. Your role will involve architecting and optimizing RESTful APIs to support secure, performant, and scalable user interactions. Collaboration with frontend developers to integrate APIs with React-based user interfaces may be required. Writing clean, testable, and efficient code with good coverage using JUnit/TestNG is a key aspect of this role. Participating in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning sessions will be part of your responsibilities. Optimizing backend performance, error handling, and observability (logs, metrics, tracing) will also be essential. You will contribute to CI/CD workflows and cloud deployments using tools like Code Pipeline, GitHub Actions, etc. To be successful in this role, you should have 5-8 years of professional software development experience. Strong expertise in Java and Micronaut or Spring Boot frameworks is required. Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and event-driven architectures is a must. A deep understanding of API Gateway, cloud services like S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and IAM is necessary. Experience in building scalable and secure RESTful APIs, knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and infrastructure automation is expected. Bonus skills include frontend development experience with React.js, familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools, knowledge of testing frameworks like Cypress and Postman, exposure to containerization with Docker, and understanding of DevOps workflows.
