Senior Front End Developer

As a Specialist Software Engineer at Amgen, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining innovative solutions to enhance system capabilities and create a seamless user experience. Your expertise in React, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, and AWS will be instrumental in developing responsive web applications and integrating UI with back-end APIs/services. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Lead the design and development of scalable web applications using .Net, React, JavaScript, or HTML - Manage and build products based on .NET frameworks to ensure seamless integration with back-end systems - Utilize AI tools such as Co-Pilot, Claude, and Open AI to drive development processes - Develop Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Visualforce pages for UI customization - Implement React for dynamic single-page applications (SPA) and bridge UI between different front-end frameworks and enterprise systems - Ensure effective communication between various tech stacks using APIs, middleware, or microservices - Maintain modular, reusable, and testable code to facilitate collaboration with QA engineers for high test coverage - Implement data security measures to safeguard sensitive information and leverage cloud platforms (preferably AWS) for scalable solutions - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust UX solutions and address complex data-related challenges **Basic Qualifications and Experience:** - Doctorate Degree OR Masters degree with 4 - 6 years of experience OR Bachelors degree with 6 - 8 years of experience OR Diploma with 10 - 12 years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or related field **Functional Skills:** *Must-Have Skills* - Hands-on experience in front-end development with React and/or .Net Framework - Proficiency in React.js and knowledge of component-based architecture - Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and styling frameworks like Sass and Styled Components - Experience with ASP.NET MVC / .NET Core and API integration with .NET backends - Strong understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first development *Good-to-Have Skills* - Experience with Salesforce Lightning Components or Veeva MyInsights - Understanding of Salesforce Lightning Design System and data models - Proficiency in using AI tools **Soft Skills:** - Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment - Proficient presentation skills Amgen is committed to providing equal opportunities to individuals with disabilities throughout the job application process, interviews, essential job functions, and employment privileges.
