Description
As a Founding Engineer at Zenskar, you'll be part of the engineering team in a phase of exciting growth. You'll contribute to a platform handling complex financial operations for B2B companies. Your work will involve building scalable systems that automate billing, usage metering, revenue recognition, and financial reporting, impacting how businesses manage their revenue operations. **Responsibilities:** - Build core platform features: Develop robust APIs, services, and integrations for billing automation and revenue recognition. - Work across the full stack: Contribute to backend services and frontend interfaces for seamless user experiences. - Optimize for scale: Develop systems to handle complex pricing models, high-volume usage data, and real-time financial calculations. - Drive quality and best practices: Write clean, maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and architectural discussions. - Solve complex problems: Debug issues across the stack and collaborate with teams to address evolving client needs. **Requirements:** - 4-6 years of software development experience or strong project background. - Experience in at least one backend programming language (Python, Java, Go) and understanding of language-specific frameworks. - Experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Spring, Express, or Django, along with knowledge of relevant libraries and tools. - Understanding of web development fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, Git, and collaborative workflows. - Strong understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), efficient data modeling, and cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, Azure is a plus). **What Drives You:** - Self-directed and motivated. - Analytical problem-solver. - Thrives in ambiguity. - Detail-oriented. - Adaptable learner. **Nice To Have:** - Experience with financial systems, billing platforms, or fintech applications. - Knowledge of SaaS business models and compliance frameworks. - API design and integration experience. - Prior experience at a startup. - Not taking yourself too seriously.,
