Senior Firmware Engineer

Role Overview: As a Technical Lead in the R&D department located in Bangalore, you should have a BTech/ MTech/ MS degree in Electrical or Electronics with 7-12 years of experience. It is preferred that you have experience with Electric Vehicles (EV), EV charging, and/or battery systems. Your responsibilities will include a minimum of 7 years of experience in an embedded systems development environment. You should have a proven track record in successful firmware delivery for commercial systems/consumer products, demonstrating the ability to deliver reliable and robust products. Your role will require you to solve problems by identifying root causes, analyzing possible solutions, and taking appropriate action. Key Responsibilities: - Solid software experience in C programming in RTOS environments - Understand and review schematics - Experience with communication interfaces such as CAN, UART, USB, SPI, and I2C - Experience working with ARM CORTEX M3/M4 controllers - Developing drivers for Touch screen display - Using TCP/IP stack and application layers like HTTP, FTP, SNMP, and Web Sockets - Accurately estimate software tasks and work to schedule - Knowledge of standards like J1939 or CANTP protocol Qualifications Required: - BTech/ MTech/ MS degree in Electrical or Electronics - 7-12 years of experience in embedded systems development - Experience with Electric Vehicles (EV), EV charging, and/or battery systems - Experience with STM32 controllers is preferred Additional Details: Experience with ARM CORTEX M3/M4 controllers, developing drivers for Touch screen display, and using TCP/IP stack and application layers like HTTP, FTP, SNMP, and Web Sockets is important.
