Senior Finance Analyst, Google Cloud International Profitability

Job Description: As a Senior Finance Analyst at our company, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality reports, analysis, and forecasts to facilitate executive-level decision-making and enhance overall performance. Your primary focus will be on the International Region (EMEA and JAPAC), working across various aspects of the profit and loss statement including Revenue, Cost of Sales, Opex, and Sales Contribution Margin. Responsibilities: - Define relevant metrics to support decision-making processes. - Establish a strong revenue data infrastructure, ensuring data consistency and accuracy. Organize data related to clients, regions, segments, industries, and cohorts. - Develop automated reporting solutions for executives and analysts. - Create and maintain models to aid in yearly planning and in-year forecasting. - Lead complex analysis projects to generate valuable insights for senior leaders. - Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Operations, Business Intelligence, and Finance teams. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience. - Minimum of 7 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree. Preferred qualifications: - Proficiency in working with large datasets and building dashboards for data visualization. - Knowledge of the Cloud/Software industry. - Familiarity with programming languages such as Javascript, Java, R, or Python. - Ability to effectively manage work in an unstructured, fast-paced environment, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
