Senior Finance Analyst, Google Cloud International Profitability

As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality reports, analysis, and forecasts to facilitate executive-level decision-making and drive performance improvement. Your primary focus will be on the International Region (EMEA and JAPAC), where you will be responsible for analyzing various aspects of the Profit and Loss statement, including Revenue, Cost of Sales, Operating Expenses, and Sales Contribution Margin. Your responsibilities will include defining key metrics to enhance decision-making processes, establishing a robust revenue data infrastructure to ensure data accuracy and consistency, and organizing data related to clients, regions, segments, industries, and cohorts. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing automated reporting solutions for both executives and analysts, as well as creating and maintaining models to support annual planning and ongoing forecasting efforts. In this role, you will lead complex analysis projects aimed at providing valuable insights to senior leadership. You will collaborate closely with teams across functions such as Sales, Sales Operations, Business Intelligence, and Finance to drive strategic initiatives and deliver impactful results. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, along with at least 7 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a similar role. An advanced degree is considered a plus. Moreover, candidates with experience working with large datasets, building data visualization dashboards, and knowledge of the Cloud/Software industry will be preferred. Familiarity with programming languages like Javascript, Java, R, or Python is advantageous. The ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced environment, and a comfort level with ambiguity are essential traits for success in this position.,
