Role Overview

• 50% Estimating
• 25% Project Management
• 25% CAD Design
  

Key Responsibilities

Estimating (50%)

• Review drawings, specifications, and RFPs to produce accurate cost estimates.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for electrical and low-voltage systems.
• Prepare and submit competitive bid packages and proposals.
• Coordinate with procurement and sales teams for pricing accuracy and profitability.
  

Project Management (25%)

• Manage projects from kickoff to completion.
• Handle schedules, budgets, submittals, and client communication.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and client requirements.
  

CAD Design (25%)

• Prepare and update CAD drawings, riser diagrams, and single-line diagrams.
• Create shop drawings and as-built documentation to support project execution.
• Incorporate field markups/redlines into drawings.
• Ensure all designs comply with NEC, NFPA, BICSI, TIA/EIA, and related U.S. standards.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 56+ years of experience in electrical and/or low-voltage contracting.
• Strong hands-on experience in project handling.
• Mandatory U.S. market experience (commercial, industrial, or government projects).
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit knowledge is a plus).
• Familiarity with estimating tools such as Bluebeam, Accubid, or similar.
• Strong understanding of U.S. electrical and low-voltage codes including:
• NEC, NFPA, Title 24, BICSI, TIA/EIA
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
