Job Description

As a Frontend Engineering Manager at Adobe, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of frontend engineers to build fast, scalable, and user-friendly web applications using JavaScript and React. You will be responsible for guiding engineers, improving frontend architecture, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. Your passion for empowering people to create exceptional digital experiences will drive you to succeed in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead, mentor, and grow a team of frontend engineers proficient in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). - Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to establish technical direction and project goals. - Drive frontend architecture decisions to enhance performance, accessibility, and maintainability. - Review code, provide constructive feedback, and maintain high engineering standards. - Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation within the team. - Define and monitor key metrics related to frontend performance and developer productivity. - Participate in the recruitment and onboarding process of new team members. - Stay abreast of emerging frontend technologies and best practices. **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of frontend development experience utilizing JavaScript and React. - 2+ years of experience in leading or managing engineering teams. - Strong grasp of modern frontend architectures, state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil), and build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.). - Proficiency in TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and/or GraphQL. - Sound understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility. - Excellent communication and leadership skills. - Dedication to mentoring engineers and enhancing team processes. **Additional Company Details (if present):** Adobe is committed to making Adobe.com accessible to all users.
