Senior Engineer- Water Structures

Job Description

Preparation of structural calculation reports, design calculations using Excel and other in-house software, and analysis of load transfer mechanisms. Excellent technical skills in the design for Concrete and steel structures. Coordinate and collaborate effectively with the other disciplines. Leading a team of engineers and CAD technicians as per project requirements Able to provide technical support to the project team and managing the projects independently. Experience in complete life cycle of a design project within Water and Wastewater environment Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose alternative solutions for encountered issues. Familiarity with international codes, including Eurocodes, American codes, Australian standards, and British Code of practices. Able to work effectively in a diverse team spread across various geographical locations. Familiarity with various software packages, ideally including MIDAS, Autodesk Robot, STAAD Pro, ETABS, and SAFE, with a preference for experience in Finite Element Analysis. Strong understanding of safety in design and related practices Performs and ensures quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Flexible to adopt new challenging tasks as per business requirements. Working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status will be advantageous. Qualifications Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. Working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization (e.g., Institution of Civil Engineers, UK). 7 to 12 years of experience as a structural design engineer, preferably with a focus on water and wastewater-related design projects.
