Senior Engineer, TD ESD

Micron Technology is currently seeking an experienced Senior ESD Engineer to join the TD ESD/Latch-up Design and Characterization team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ESD/LUP design and signoff, with expertise in utilizing standard foundry experience. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic, innovative, and driven environment. Responsibilities: - Design and simulate various ESD clamps (Signal & Power) to evaluate high current and voltage properties. - Analyze driver/receiver architecture to provide optimal ESD solutions. - Assess fundamental ESD properties of circuit elements using wafer level transmission line pulse data. - Establish ESD and latch-up design rules and guidelines for customers. - Oversee full-chip ESD design reviews and layout verification processes. - Lead first silicon ESD and latch-up design validation tests and perform root cause analysis when necessary. - Drive continuous improvement in product design and reliability through innovative ESD solutions. Successful candidates for this position will possess: - Proficiency in Cadence design tools and ESD analysis tools like PERC or Path-Finder. - Strong data analysis skills to extract ESD properties and develop design rules. - Excellent oral and written communication skills to provide technical leadership across global teams. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics with 5-8 years of experience, OR - Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics with 3-6 years of experience, OR - Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics. Preferred Qualifications: - Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or related field with 5+ years of experience.
