You will be part of Tide, a business management platform focused on saving time and money for small businesses. In your role as a Senior Python Engineer at Tide, you will have the following responsibilities: - Define, own, and maintain services within your team's domain from the service catalogue. - Collaborate with the product team to select technology partners. - Work closely with backend engineers across agile teams, focusing on design, implementation, and mentoring. - Align your team's vision and roadmap with the target architecture to drive the success of multi-domain initiatives. - Collaborate with various teams to translate requirements into well-engineered solutions. - Contribute to the Community of Practice by sharing your extensive experience and best practices with fellow engineers. - Utilize the Tide Growth Framework for career progression and personal development opportunities. To be successful in this role, you should have: - Proven experience as a Python Developer with a strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals. - Hands-on experience with AWS, Django, FastAPI, Flask, and REST APIs. - Knowledge of event-driven microservices, message queues, and Salesforce integrations. - Experience in Scrum and Agile development practices. - Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills, coupled with a passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
