Job Description

You will be responsible for providing clear, timely, and professional technical support to customers or internal teams. Your duties will include diagnosing and resolving issues related to product functionality or performance, as well as communicating with customers to understand and document their problems. You will also provide troubleshooting advice, assist customers in understanding solutions, and create and maintain documentation related to support processes, troubleshooting, and product changes. Additionally, you will suggest product improvements based on feedback or technical observations, share insights or best practices with the team, and ensure alignment with overall project goals. Furthermore, you may be required to train or assist other team members in areas where expertise is needed. As a Senior Engineer (PHP Product Support) at GlobalLogic, you will leverage your 3+ years of experience in PHP Web Development to move into a Product Support Engineer role. Your main responsibilities will involve applying your web development expertise to assist with support, resolve issues, and enhance the product. Collaboration with various teams, including development, business, and customer support, will be essential to ensure a positive user experience and address any technical challenges. The work location for this role is in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in PHP Web Development. You should possess proven experience in developing, testing, and maintaining web applications and features, as well as hands-on experience in identifying, documenting defects, and deploying new product versions and updates. Strong communication skills, both oral and written in English, are essential for this role. Additionally, you must be willing to work from the office and be flexible with a 24/7 shift schedule.
