Senior Engineer, Product Support (AEM)

We are looking for a Java developer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Java development. The role primarily involves supporting enterprise clients who use Adobe AEM products. It is important to note that this role will not include programming or core development work, as it is solely focused on product support during night shifts in the US, working from the office for 5 days a week. The ideal candidate should hold either a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science along with 2-4 years of experience in Web and/or ECMS technologies. A strong knowledge of web technologies, especially JAVA/J2EE, JavaScript, Content Management Systems (CMS), and website architecture is required. Proficiency in HTML, DHTML, CSS, XML, AJAX, JQuery, Apache, and IIS is also essential. Additionally, working knowledge of various operating systems such as WIN, UNIX, LINUX, and Solaris is necessary. The responsibilities of this role include providing support for all product-related issues, analyzing critical issues to provide RCA, proposing architectures for solutions, and identifying areas that require patching and upgrading. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are crucial for articulating technical solutions to various audiences. The candidate should also possess effective dialogue building skills, listening abilities, and good Q&A skills. As part of the job responsibilities, the selected candidate will be expected to drive high levels of customer satisfaction, provide customer support via telephone and portal, act as a customer advocate, liaise with engineering/product management, address customer concerns, and assist in testing new product features. Moreover, managing incidents, troubleshooting bug reports, assisting in resolving product issues, participating in department meetings, and assisting in special projects are key aspects of this role.
