Senior Engineer Product Design & Development (Creo)

As a qualified candidate for this position, you will be responsible for generating concept designs based on functional requirements and customer needs. You will provide engineering support throughout the design, development, and optimization phases of product creation. Your role will involve designing Splashguard covers with a focus on aesthetics, reliability, serviceability, and cost considerations. Additionally, you will design Control panels and Operator panels with an emphasis on user-friendliness and operator safety. Your responsibilities will also include the selection and design of Cross covers, Lamella covers, Telescopic covers, Auto doors, and Wipers. You will be expected to execute engineering design changes following established change management processes and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality support for product development activities. Meeting customer standard requirements and assisting the assembly department in procedural machine building activities will be crucial aspects of your role. Furthermore, resolving customer complaints by thoroughly studying and analyzing the root cause will be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this position, you must possess a minimum of 4 years of experience using PTC Creo. Proficiency in design calculations, material selection, GD&T, and Tolerance Stack-up analysis is essential. You should also have experience in designing machine elements such as bearings, gears, pulleys, springs, and seals. Preferred competencies for this role include knowledge of DFMEA at the part and assembly levels, familiarity with Design for Excellence (DFX) guidelines, and experience in Machine design.
