Senior Engineer Mechanical (Power Plant)

You will be responsible for assisting the GCC group team leader in planning and allocating team resources and tasks. Additionally, you will provide technical support to the Pre-Contract and Project Delivery teams on matters related to the design, construction, and operation of power and desalination plants. Your role will also involve performing detailed design work for power and water projects using performance modeling software packages, evaluating tender submissions, preparing technical specifications and design drawings, and reviewing design and performance calculations of contractors/subcontractors/vendors. You will attend project meetings, monitor site progress, and participate in factory acceptance tests for equipment manufactured in India and abroad. Furthermore, you will be involved in preparing reports, reviewing method statements/test procedures, and maintaining awareness of technological advances and industry best practices.
