Senior Engineer- Mechanical (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning)

You will be responsible for HVAC engineering activities in the mechanical discipline on a project or designated portions of a project for a global business unit. Your role will involve planning and directing HVAC engineering assignments, with technical responsibilities for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating these tasks. Design experience in Semiconductor facility, Battery manufacturing, and data center will be advantageous for this position. Your primary duties will include: - Planning and conducting work with sound engineering practices, ensuring quality within schedule and cost - Reviewing process packages for completeness of data - Developing technical specifications for equipment/packages - Participating in IDC process and interacting with various stakeholders - Designing, preparing MDS/engineering drawings, and reviewing quotes - Coordinating technical issues with other departments and developing standard documentation - Traveling to assist activities at other engineering offices, suppliers" works, and construction sites You will need experience in developing critical project deliverables such as design criteria, HVAC load finding, ventilation finding, duct sizing, data sheets, technical bid evaluation, and more using tools like TRACE 700. A degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 11 years of experience in HVAC system design are required, with experience in Semiconductor, Data Center, Energy, or Power projects being advantageous. Key skills for this role include the ability to plan and conduct independent work, ensure projects are carried out with sound engineering practices, coordinate technical issues with other departments, review and develop standard documentation, and work effectively within a global team. Travel to support activities at various locations, working with personnel of different nationalities, and demonstrating leadership and supervisory skills are also essential.
