Senior Engineer - Materials and Corrosion

You will be responsible for: - Writing technical reports based on assessments, calculations, and inspections - Leading the Implementation of RBI commercial software - Providing materials and corrosion related expertise and recommendations - Producing material selection designs/reports - Leading the development of inspection work packs - Liaising with specialized engineering disciplines to execute the integrity program and to resolve integrity related concerns - Performing, leading and supporting corrosion assessments and corrosion modeling - Performing basic cathodic protection calculations (anode mass, number, size, location) for subsea - Producing engineering calculations based on engineering concepts and API/ASME standards - Involvement with industry associations and academic institutions - Participating in studies regarding Risk Based Inspection and fitness assessment of pressurized equipment - Project management - Interfacing with clients, personnel, and subcontractors - Performing QA/QC checks and reviewing material and corrosion related work - Ensuring compliance with the company's Quality and HSE policies - Achieving company goals/personal KPIs Qualifications: - Bachelor of Engineering degree (or greater) in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Petroleum, or related specialty required - 5+ years of experience as a corrosion/materials engineer in oil and gas required - Proficiency with corrosion modeling programs preferred - Proficiency with integrity management databases preferred - Strong report writing experience preferred - Willingness to develop a wide range of skills and flexibility to work on a variety of projects - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
